The Region

We are in south-west France, on the border of Lot-et-Garonne and Dordogne. It is a rolling landscape with a very rich history. Nature is lush and varied. You can take beautiful walks through dense forests, while marvelling at the historical monuments you casually cross.

We are amid three well-known and lively bastide villages: Monflanquin, Villeréal and Monpazier. In Monflanquin (8km) and Villeréal (11km) you will find all basic amenities such as a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, garage, etc.

There are plenty of other fairy-tale villages in the area worth visiting: Issigeac, Pays-de-Belvès, Pujols, Puy-l'Évêque, Sarlat-la-Canéda,...

The larger towns nearby are Villeneuve-sur-Lot (25 km), Bergerac (45 km), Agen (55 km), Cahors (80 km) and Périgueux (90 km). We are right between the two big cities of Bordeaux (160 km) and Toulouse (150 km).
