The Region

We are in the south-west of France, on the border of Lot-et-Garonne and Dordogne. We are in the middle between the big cities of Bordeaux (160 km) and Toulouse (150 km). Closer by, you have Villeneuve-sur-Lot (25 km), Bergerac (45 km), Agen (55 km) and Cahors (80 km), among others.

Our region is known as the "Coeur de Bastide". Bastides are fortified towns built in the Middle Ages, mainly found in the south-west of France, and we are surrounded by some of the most famous ones: Monflanquin, Villeréal and Monpazier. There are, of course, several other fairy-tale villages in the area that are worth a visit: Issigeac, Pays-de-Belvès, Pujols, Puy-l'Évêque, Sarlat-la-Canéda,...

We enjoy a temperate maritime climate here. In summer, it is often dry and hot, but an occasional rain or thunderstorm brings coolness.
